R&D Director at Ameritox:

Responsible for Laboratory Research and Development.

  Tasks:
  • In partnership with the Lab Director, Director of Operational Support and Director of Laboratory Operations this person will ensure the laboratory meets or exceeds the requirements for Regulatory Agencies (i.e., CLIA, CAP, State Licenses) including the validation and maintenance of all methods, procedures, processes, work instructions and instrumentation guidelines placed into production.
  • Develop, implement, and ensure all R& D Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed
  • Discover and develop new methodology, technology and processes
  • When requested and /or in partnership with the Lab Director, Director of Operational Support and Director of Laboratory Operations provide technical support to laboratory processes
  • Enhance and improve existing methodology, technology and processes
  • Supervise the R&D  Laboratory functions
  • With the Lab Director, Director of Operational Support and Director of Laboratory Operations identify appropriate technology and ensure adequate instrumentation is available to perform testing
  • Assist , when requested, the Lab Director and Director of Laboratory Operations technical inquiries from  clients are handled accurately, properly, and in accordance with other professional employees, as needed
Education
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or equivalent in Toxicology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

Experience
A minimum of 10+  years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed.    Previous laboratory and supervisory experience is required.

CLIA/CAP/Nevada Requirements
Doctoral Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science and be certified and continue to be certified by a board approved by HHS.
